VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
YMCA of the Pines is currently looking for exceptional team members to join Camp Bright Feathers! Camp Bright Feathers hosts nearly 100 campers each summer who enjoy the beautiful 800 acre grounds, innovative programming, and most importantly – you. Friendly and caring volunteers are at the heart of the magic behind Camp Bright Feathers. We are seeking full and part time volunteers for all type of positions (counselor, laundry, off-site check in and check out, procurement, along with other opportunities).

There is a training session for all volunteers on July 18, 2026 at YMCA of the Pines (1303 Stokes Road, Medford, NJ 08055). The training will start at 10:30 and will be held at Camp. This date is subject to change. This is MANDATORY for all new counselors or any volunteers that have been away from camp for some time.
There is a Mandatory Camp training August 15, 2026 at YMCA of the Pines (1303 Stokes Road, Medford, NJ 08055). The training will start at 10:30 and will be held at Camp Ockanickon. Staff will move in this day along with training.
There will be additional training through e-mail, video links, and training supplied by YMCA of the Pines.
